Words fail me...If I could take readers by the hand to the Feel Better Reflexology and Massage Center at 2nd and Spring Garden, one massage would far outweigh these 832 words.
But some things you've got to do for yourself. So let me tell you about this hidden treasure, deep (actually high...it's right above Penn Herb) in Northern Liberties.
A fragrant aroma floats up from the herb store below, combining with Feel Better's soothing lotions; an atmosphere designed for pleasure.
...Jill, trained at the International Institute of Reflexology, believes passionately in her work. "We respect boundaries. We do not try to replace doctors," said Jill, "but massage and reflexology are so healing. People really can incorporate this healing into their everyday lives. How does reflexology work?
"Each area of the foot corresponds to an area in the body." Explained Jill. "I am simplifying, but imagine the spot reflexing back to nerves in the organs and muscles. The three key words are: stimulate, improve, heal." Jill affirmed in her soft voice. "Reflexology stimulates your system so the body can heal itself amd improve. Part of the pleasure," said Jill, "becomes maintaining you body's health so that you function to your highest potential.
"The Feel Better Reflexology Center functions at it's peak potential, it seems. The staff does corporate lunch hours and parties, and house calls. "We went to an accountant during tax season, and did his whole staff." said Jeff. "That was awesome." Jeff's devotion to reflexology stems from his own health improving radically with repeated sessions.
"I know it's unbelievable" he said. No matter what pain you have when you walk in," said Jeff, "When you receive a session you will feel better when you walk out."
